What I was thinking - When I found out about my neighbor

I did some research on my new neighbor, Nick Caraway. I learned that he was in the bond business and was up and coming on Wall Street. More importantly, I found out he is Daisy’s cousin! He seems like a very nice fellow and maybe I can ask him for a favor. This might sound horrible, but I could use him to get to Daisy. Of course, I would befriend the ole sport, but this might be my only shot at reaching Daisy. She is off and married now with Tom Buchanan. Once she realizes how rich I am she will not make the same mistake and leave me. I am going to invite Nick to one of my parties. From what I have heard he seems like a man I can trust. He would be the only person, aside from Ms. Baker who would the truth about me. I need him to talk to Daisy and get my name in her ear. But without Tom knowing my true intentions. If he were to find out he would move her to the other side of the country just so he does not lose her. Once I get closer to Nick, I am going to ask him to ask her to come to one of my parties. Wait. That does not seem right. Tea! We could invite her to tea! That would be perfect. Just us two and Nick in case I get nervous. Now I need to get close to Nick to make this happen.
